In the newly-renovated Concourse B, explore over forty works of contemporary art and five site-specific installations that are as spirited and diverse as the city itself.
UAC, in partnership with the Kroger Company, commissioned artist Becka Matthews Hickerson to create vibrant, inviting indoor artwork for Kroger Store #483, located at Milton Wilson Drive and Airline Road.
IKEA Memphis, in partnership with UAC, commissioned Brandon Marshall to create an indoor mural within the IKEA Memphis store entrance.

Through the Neighborhood Art Initiative, seniors in the Cherokee Heights Civic Club created five signs to mark the entrances of their celebrated South Memphis neighborhood. These permanent aluminum signs and new gateway sign, installed at the Cherokee Library, honor the historic past, vibrant present, and thriving future of the Cherokee Heights Neighborhood.
BRIDGES, in partnership with UAC, commissioned Kiersten Williams to create an updated design for the indoor panels that captures the mission, vision, and history of this inspiring local youth organization.
Alcenia’s, in partnership with UAC, MMDC, DMC, and Memphis Tourism, commissioned artist Larry Walker to create an exterior wall mural that pays tribute to the restaurant’s roots celebrating it’s rich cultural history and bright future as a pillar in the Pinch District!
South Point Grocery, in partnership with Cynthia Ham Interiors and UAC, commissioned artists Carl E. Moore, Emily C. Thomas, and Khara Woods to create three murals that highlight themes of culture, community, and farm-to-table all while paying homage to the rich history of the historic building they have repurposed to increase community access to fresh produce and essential goods.
Through the Neighborhood Art Initiative, the HUG Park Friends and artist Jamond Bullock created a vibrant new mural to greet swimmers at Gooch Park pool.
Artist Tony Hawkins created bus shelter, mural, and street banner designs that showcase the pride of Whitehaven and allow its spirit to be felt by both residents and tourists alike.
UAC and the City of Memphis commissioned Memphis-based artist Terry Lynn to create a series of three sculptures that reflect the history of the South City neighborhood and its connection to the Memphis Heritage Trail.
Porter-Leath, in partnership with TONE and UAC, commissioned artists Daria Davis, Juan Rojo, and Sarai Payne to create indoor murals that highlight themes of partnership, connection, family, neighborhoods, and home while paying homage to the rich history and tradition of both supporting organizations and the academy’s home in the Orange Mound community.
The FourWay Restaurant, in partnership with UAC and Memphis Tourism, commissioned artist Danielle Sierra to create an exterior wall mural that pays tribute to the restaurant’s founding families while celebrating its rich history and bright future as an anchor in the South Memphis neighborhood.
Kong Wee Pang & Jay Crum at the Renasant Convention Center
UAC along with the City of Memphis and the Renasant Convention Center Board of Commissioners produced an interior mural inside the convention center entrance from Parking Level 1. Kong Wee Pang and Jay Crum responded to a Call to Artists from the selection committee, with a focus on themes of the history of music made in and inspired by Memphis and explore the possibilities of Memphis as the city moves forward into our third century. Their mural shows an abstracted future cityscape of Memphis, with nods to the Mississippi River and the rich musical history of Memphis.
