We are pleased to announce that Sarah Stobbe has been selected for UAC's Tiny Gallery! Her exhibit features a collection of thought-provoking works that invite viewers to reflect on the complexities of daily life:
Sigh | 6”x7”x10”
Put It In the Sink | 10”x10”x11”
And Not Or | 34”x10”x12”
Yes Game | 78”x38”x12”
Stobbe’s work delves into the tension between what you have to do, what you "should" be doing, and what you want to do—a universal struggle that she captures through her meticulously balanced compositions. Using playful objects and games, she infuses her art with critical linguistic metaphors, creating pieces that resonate deeply with viewers.
Sarah Stobbe, a Memphis native, graduated with a BFA from the University of Memphis in 2023 and currently serves as the Art Instructor for the Dixon Gallery and Gardens.
